Over the past 10 years I have been teaching Bulgarian language to people around the World - sharing the beauty of Bulgaria cultural heritage, history and nature in my lovely mother tongue.

What is Suggestopedia?
SUGGESTOPEDIA is a teaching-learning methodology whose main aim is to activate the learners’ untapped reserves of the brain/psyche.
It was developed in the 1970's in Sofia by the neuropsychiatrist and psychotherapist Dr. Georgi Lozanov with his colleagues at the Research Institute of Suggestology at the University of Sofia ‘St. Kliment Ohridsky’ and later with the contribution of the linguist, researcher in Musical Pedagogy and creator of the suggestopedic art, Dr. Evelina Gateva.
SUGGESTPEDIOA is a pedagogical approach based on the theory of suggestion applied in the pedagogical process in order to liberate
the personality from all the negative suggestions about the limitations of the human capacities created by the social norm.
Because of its emphasis on de-suggesting the social norm and its aim at releasing the unlimited reserve capacities of the human brain and psyche,
SUGGESTOPEDIA is excellent communication between the teacher and the student.
But the truthfulness of this communication is essential, that is, the teacher must really believe in what he does and feel a real affection for it, without it being something simulated, without artificiality.
All the other harmoniously orchestrated elements that the well-trained teacher uses in SUGGESTOPEDIA are aimed at achieving this excellent communication. When the student perceives all this, he begins to uncover his mental reservations and learns much more while feeling good.
According to the UNESCO report, SUGGESTOPEDIA is the most adequate methodology.
In the Suggestopedic language class, the logical information intended for the conscious is wrapped up and completed with information
intended for the unconscious in the form of an appropriate environment, artistic elements, music, games, a playful and friendly atmosphere.
In short, a greater amount of resources from both cerebral hemispheres and from the entire brain in general are used, the different facets
of the personality are stimulated, and mental reserves are uncovered.
The result is that the student will accelerate and integrate learning, without having to study, absorbing 3 to 5 times more material than in conventional methods.
The beginner student will find a vocabulary of 600 to 800 new words and all the basic grammar in the first lesson.
The teacher will present this material within an artistic context using classical music in the background. In the following days,
all this material will be developed within a framework of play, surprise, humor, and fun, inviting continued participation.
About me
Ten years ago, my exciting journey with Suggestopedia began. This meeting of ours was fatal, because it brought us together for life.
Since then, I have been teaching Bulgarian to people who have chosen Bulgaria as their home or passing through, who return at any convenient time.
Certified Suggestopedia teacher since 2016, certificate 371, as well as a teacher of foreign languages first and second level by trainers Vanina Bodurova and Gloria Alguacil.
During these years, I have worked with people - children and adults from Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa.
